Coach Wilson is regarded by his peers as an outstanding teacher of the game of basketball. Wilson has completed his 46th season as a basketball coach. The past five seasons, he has assisted former University of Wisconsin-Green Bay standout, Gary Grzesk, in reviving the St. Norbert College program. The past two season, St. Norbert won the Midwest Conference and Conference Tournament. St. Norbert won only their 5th conference championship and made only their 4th NCAA appearance in school history. They were ranked as high as 9th in the nation in Division III. Wilson has spent 17 years as an assistant at the University of Evansville and UW-Green Bay. At the college level, he has had the opportunity to help coach both NIT and NCAA tournament teams and has been a part of numerous league championships. Prior to his college experience, Wilson spent nine successful years at Sparta High School and served as president of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. He has been directing camps and clinics for over 26 years and is always ready to share his knowledge of the game with young athletes and their coaches. He was elected to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame and Sparta Wall of Fame.
