Hoosier School of Basketball

Parents are invited and encouraged to attend
any of the Hoosier School of Basketball sessions.

OFFENSIVE BASKETBALL

1. Proper Techniques of Shooting
   1. receiving the ball
   2. position for passing, shooting or driving
   3. sound principles of shooting
   4. jump shot
   5. lay-ups: conventional & power lay-up
2. Offensive Moves
   1. triple threat position: pass, shoot, and drive
   2. how to drive right and left
   3. drive, stop and jump shot

BALL HANDLING, PASSING AND DRIBBLING

1. Proper Techniques of Dribbling and Ball Handling
   1. demonstration of fundamental ball handling drills
   2. starting and stopping the dribble
   3. protecting the ball
   4. cross-over, speed, hesitation, behind the back, between the legs and control dribbles
2. Proper Techniques of Passing
   1. receiving and follow through
   2. chest, bounce, flick, and overhead pass

INSIDE MOVES

1. Post or Big Man Moves
   1. baseline power lay-ups

Our staff would like to welcome you to one of the best player development camps in the Midwest. We focus on quality over quantity and help each player reach their next level of play.

All liability for injury, accident, theft or loss must be accepted by the enrollee and parents who agree to release the school, camp instructors, and the Hoosier School of Basketball from all claims or damages which may result from such accidents. In the event of injury, refunds will be credited to camper's 2011 camp registration upon presentation of a physician's statement. Other refund requests will be left to the camp director's discretion. If the request is honored, the refund will be credited to the camper's 2011 camp registration. Campers guilty of unbecoming behavior will be dismissed from camp without refund.
